30-hour DIY Famine Camp 2011

The time is here again for us to come together and unite to raise funds in support of the children around the world.

We’ve had a very successful camp last year with around 150 volunteers and participants and we are back to bring more Fun and Challenges while doing our part for the children. Those who have participated in our activities would know very well that our programs are simply fantastic and everyone will have a good splendid time.

This year we are targeting 200 participants.

Event Details:

DIY Camp Venue: SRJK (C) Puay Chai, SS2 – (6 Aug, 10am – 7 Aug, 12pm)

Countdown Venue: Bukit Jalil Stadium (7 Aug, 12pm – 4pm)
Date: 6th – 7th August 2011

Here is how you can participate in this event!

1. Visit us at http://beautifulgate.org.my/, click on “DIY 30-hour Famine camp” and scroll down to the registration link and click on it to register.
2. Upon successful submission, please click on “Print Form” to print out the registration form and sign at the “Campers Signature” section OR You could also choose to visit http://beautifulgate.org.my/2011-famine30/print_form.php, and key in your registered IC/ Passport No. to retrieve your form.
3. Arrange to submit the form to the focal points below and collect the coupon booklet from them. (if you do not plan to raise fund via collecting donation, you are not required to collect a coupon booklet. And therefore please skip step 3 and 4)

4. Start collecting donation with the booklet from your family or friends only.
5. After you have fulfilled your targeted amount (RM120 or more), please approach the focal points again to submit your donation together with your coupon booklet before the closing date: 9 July 2011
6. Come to our venue on 6th. August, registrations starts from 8.30am-9.45amand prepare for a smashingly fantastic time! The Camp will start at 10pm!

* IMPORTANT NOTE: This year we are planning to raise a total of RM24,000 for the entire camp. In order to achieve this target, we are hoping that every participant can aim to collect a minimum donation of RM120 or more! Your contribution will go a long way into helping the children and other beneficiaries. However, please take note that this is NOT compulsory. Thanks!
